“Cottori San’s Original Osechi” & New Year

Happy New Year.
From the year-end and New Year’s holidays, I was suddenly pulled back to reality.

The weather was nice and warm all day, it was a really calm New Year’s Day.
This holidays, we enjoyed walking early morning!

There is a big park in the neighborhood of Ori’s house, a walk around the moat  ~A coffee break is our favorite course.
It really feels good.

And Otto-san’s favorite swing is enjoying.
On this day on the first day, there are not kids yet.

Well, this year is my first New Year to celebrate with Otto-san.
Last time Otto-san introduced it, Ori-san made “Cottori San’s Original Osechi”.

The appearance is very beautiful !
There are no elements of Osechi dishes at all (lol)
Introduction briefly.

Hand made ham
1 Coloring olive paste and salt and pepper chicken meat.
2 Wrap around in laps, 3 minutes by range. It’s three minutes back. Completion!

Because the shrimp that I bought for Vietnam roll remained,
1 Shake the salt for the shrimp a while.
2 Bake in a pan
3 Add alcohol. Steam the lid and finish it!

Vietnam roll
1 Boile the Shrimp
2 Slice the purple onions and season with Nampula, Garlic Oil. Pick up shrimp and soak it overnight.
3 Return the rice paper with water and roll up the green leaf and bean seedlings (broiled at home) and broccoli sprouts, chives and 2 onion shrimps. Completion!

1 Slice the carrot
2 Roast dry pine nuts and sunflower seed and add it to the carrot.
3 Arrange the taste with salt and make it!

Japanese omelette (Tamagoyaki)
1 Melt the egg and add the “Jyako” and “Aosa” powder.
2 Shake the salt and add “Amazake” to the hidden taste.
3 Grill with egg yolk machine, finished!
I make the “Tamagoyaki” for Otto-san is the first time.
I do not put in sugar, Otto-san was the same, so I am relieved (lol)

Bean salad
1 chopped purple onion.
2 Immerse mixed beans and 1 onions in olive oil, vinegar and salt, ready!

Persimmon, avocado and tomato salad
1 Cut persimmon and avocado into bite size. Tomatoes in half length.
2 Dare with olive oil and salt pepper, finish with cumin.
I used cumin for the first time, it is delicious!
Otto-san was damaged by the sweetness of persimmon, but it was so delicious. Ori-san push!

Cauliflower and edamame curry flavor
1 Sauteed frozen edamame and cauliflower with garlic oil.
2 Add curry powder to the finish.
I forgot to put anchovies! I notice this time.

Brown rice ball onigiri
Part 1 The pickles and the “Jyako”
Part 2 Black sesame and wasabi
It seems that the flavor of wasabi flew away as time goes on.
It seems that it could have been added more violently 😀

When I thought that it was colorfully made with side dishes that can be cooked, it became an assortment of just as simple things as I usually make almost 😀
I was glad that Otto-san was pleased.

It’s too early to end the winter vacation soon,
From the end of the year to the beginning of the year,
I spent relaxingly with Ori,
It is ours that we celebrated the New Year ‘s holiday not drunk for years.

I do not drink alcohol so slowly it’s time to pass.
I wonder if I was doing something unfriendly so far,
I will feel it again.

Hmm, it is luxurious!

Actually, I could not finish eating, and ate for lunch the next day 🙂
(After this, there was Toshikoshi Udon)

Both Ori and I do not like ordinary osechi dishes very much,
What Ori thinked to make it deliciously eatable and looks luxurious,
This time is Ori-san Osechi.

The most delicious thing was Vietnam roll.
I do not like fried rolls very much,
Vietnam rolls, skin is very tasty,
It is also a dish that seems to be delicious since I met Ori.
Because Nampula releases an unusual odor,
The kitchen smells 😉
The contents are also vegetables, shrimp and healthy,
Is not it healthier than fried rolls?

There were so many things that I could not finish eating at one time,
Ori style osechi was delicious!
Even though it is good every year if it is such osechi,
Ori seems to be in trouble, so next year I will be fine at all meals everyday!

First New Year’s Preparation

I have a really reliable Otto-san to my husband, Ori-san is a happy person.
Cotori-san surely will be relieved.

Tomorrow is New Year’s Eve.
The first New Year ‘s greetings with Otto-san.
Today from the morning, I am preparing “Osechi & Ozoni”.

I’ve never been to New Year ‘s cooking since I have stayed at my parent home last year and New Year’ s holiday.
I managed  get ready for a look!

Nonetheless, Otto-san and Ori-san are not like old-fashioned “Osechi”…
So, it seems that a pretty original “Cottori Family’s Osechi” will be completed.
The completed figure will be released on New Year’s Day!

Osechi is likely to be far from the original thing,
I am hoping to reproduce “Hakata-Zoni” which Ori-san has eaten since long ago.
There seems to be various kinds of “Ozoni” all over the area, but is “soup” important for “Hakata-Zoni” ?
To prepare delicious soup stock, it is preparations from tonight.

Material of soup stock
· “Yaki-ago” (It does not start without this! Flying fish burned with charcoal fire)
· “Donko-Shiitake” (thick dried mushroom shiitake)
· kelp
· Dried squid
· Bonito
There are lots of it. Moreover, the kelp and the dried squid used this time is from “Shinsen” that I had at the time of worshiping Ise.
I wonder if it will be a profit.
Immersed in water overnight, and boiled out tomorrow.

It would be nice if I could complete for the first time.

At our company, last year we had the usual Mochitsuki.

Last year, Ori was unable to participate due to unfortunate work,

Ori became the first Mochitsuki.

You can eat it with Japanese radish sauce,

We hurriedly searched for a nearby clinic.

Before that, I had decided where to move,

While there were places close to the moving place, there was only one case was the clinic written by Ori.

I have not heard any direct stories yet,

I can only do as I pray that things will go well,
I think that I would like to prepare the environment that Ori can feel pleasant and safe as much as possible.

Although there were various in this year,
I guess there will be more variety next year than this year.
There are fun and uneasiness,
We hope to cooperate with Ori and make it a happy year.

Birth and Fetal movement

Good morning. I’m Ori-san.

The day before yesterday, there was “Mochituski” at Otto-san’s home.
Perhaps the first time to participate in “Mochituski”?
Mochitsuki rice cakes are delicious.
I reviewed a little about “Omochi” 😀

A big incident occurred yesterday than such a thing.
The hospital which was going to give birth is suddenly closed · · ·
It is due to circumstances of adults on the management side,
It seems there is no problem with the hospital,
I understood that we can not accept birth for a while.
Moreover, I found a phone call from me · · ·  It was really shocking.

However, it is truly reassuring that a person who thinks together as myself is next to me.
Even when I was calling a hospital, Otto-san was there next to me, so I think I managed to keep it at ease.

We changed the schedule and we had a meeting.
Yesterday I was able to find a place to accept painless labor in a nearby hospital.
It seems that costs are suppressed as a result 😀  It was good that I did not go over the years like this.
Although it is a little uneasy that it is not a painless specialist hospital, I will try to talk firmly with my midwife.

However, the anxiety seemed to have been big, and now I became alone Tears stopped stopping in the morning.
(It’s a secret to Otto-san, lol)
But as I spit out here, this story is over.
In a new hospital, I pray only for meeting with Cotori-san, I will switch my mind!

But, there were also very good things.

I was able to feel fetal movement for the first time in a car headed for Mochitsuki.
After that, Cot0ri-san is moving cheerfully in my stomach.
I wonder if I wanted to participate in “Omochi Petan Petan”.

Japanese style Christmas. Rakugo and Yakitori

Good evening.

From Ori-san baton touch so we have a pattern of our Christmas.

At Hakataza, I saw Rakugo of Shinosuke Tatekawa and Syoushi.

Shinosuke’s creative rakugo was also interesting,
I was made to think that Soushi’s classic rakugo was also well thought out.
So, I listened to Rakugo’s storyteller and declared Ori-san to stop drinking 🙂
Rakugo is different from a TV comedy program,

I ordered a sake(Nihonsyu) as a substitute because it was too delicious.

At Yakitori-ya in dinner, after that Hakata specialty cart ramen!
I ate too much and my weight this morning was tough, but it became Eve like us that does not feel anything fashionable.

From Otto-san, I received a live DVD of ”Hiromi Uehara ”who went to a concert the other day and had a great excitement!
New Year ‘s holiday, see this and that touch again! It is!

And I gave Otto-san ‘s “Hanten”. It is Japanese traditional warm clothes.

I just finished making sandwich ingredients.

Kouya Tofu and Squid Stir-fried Miso soup with Red ginger and Others

· Simmered radish and cherry blossoms
· Pickled bamboo shoots and red ginger
· Kouya tofu and stir-fry sauce
· Boiled celery
· Bean sprouts and Yukari dressed with souce
· Glutinous wheat coconut oil rice

Kouya Tofu and stir-fry are oddly delicious,
Although it is saying also in moive,
Ori-san, I guess it is a dish that can not be made if I am told to make it once more 🙂
But food is such a real pleasure.

Everything was delicious,
As a new discovery,
It is delicious to put red ginger in miso soup.=O

Even with red ginger,
I do not know if it can be delicious with all the red ginger,
In red ginger used this time, it felt very tasty.
(Anyway, I will introduce that red ginger, I personally like it very much and I eat it everyday.)

It is already a weekend,
Tomorrow, I can spend the day with Ori-san so it’s a translation I’m drinking alone with tension rising

Yesterday, with Ori-san went to see concert of Uehara Hiromi,
We are going up tension each other.

Tomorrow, while watching Hiromi Uehara’s DVD,
