“Cottori San’s Original Osechi” & New Year


Happy New Year.
From the year-end and New Year’s holidays, I was suddenly pulled back to reality.

The weather was nice and warm all day, it was a really calm New Year’s Day.
This holidays, we enjoyed walking early morning!

There is a big park in the neighborhood of Ori’s house, a walk around the moat  ~A coffee break is our favorite course.
It really feels good.

And Otto-san’s favorite swing is enjoying.
On this day on the first day, there are not kids yet.

Well, this year is my first New Year to celebrate with Otto-san.
Last time Otto-san introduced it, Ori-san made “Cottori San’s Original Osechi”.

The appearance is very beautiful !
There are no elements of Osechi dishes at all (lol)
Introduction briefly.

Hand made ham
1 Coloring olive paste and salt and pepper chicken meat.
2 Wrap around in laps, 3 minutes by range. It’s three minutes back. Completion!

Because the shrimp that I bought for Vietnam roll remained,
1 Shake the salt for the shrimp a while.
2 Bake in a pan
3 Add alcohol. Steam the lid and finish it!

Vietnam roll
1 Boile the Shrimp
2 Slice the purple onions and season with Nampula, Garlic Oil. Pick up shrimp and soak it overnight.
3 Return the rice paper with water and roll up the green leaf and bean seedlings (broiled at home) and broccoli sprouts, chives and 2 onion shrimps. Completion!

carrot salad
1 Slice the carrot
2 Roast dry pine nuts and sunflower seed and add it to the carrot.
3 Arrange the taste with salt and make it!

Japanese omelette (Tamagoyaki)
1 Melt the egg and add the “Jyako” and “Aosa” powder.
2 Shake the salt and add “Amazake” to the hidden taste.
3 Grill with egg yolk machine, finished!
I make the “Tamagoyaki” for Otto-san is the first time.
I do not put in sugar, Otto-san was the same, so I am relieved (lol)

Bean salad
1 chopped purple onion.
2 Immerse mixed beans and 1 onions in olive oil, vinegar and salt, ready!

Persimmon, avocado and tomato salad
1 Cut persimmon and avocado into bite size. Tomatoes in half length.
2 Dare with olive oil and salt pepper, finish with cumin.
I used cumin for the first time, it is delicious!
Otto-san was damaged by the sweetness of persimmon, but it was so delicious. Ori-san push!

Cauliflower and edamame curry flavor
1 Sauteed frozen edamame and cauliflower with garlic oil.
2 Add curry powder to the finish.
I forgot to put anchovies! I notice this time.

Brown rice ball onigiri
Part 1 The pickles and the “Jyako”
Part 2 Black sesame and wasabi
It seems that the flavor of wasabi flew away as time goes on.
It seems that it could have been added more violently 😀

When I thought that it was colorfully made with side dishes that can be cooked, it became an assortment of just as simple things as I usually make almost 😀
I was glad that Otto-san was pleased.

It’s too early to end the winter vacation soon,
From the end of the year to the beginning of the year,
I spent relaxingly with Ori,
It is ours that we celebrated the New Year ‘s holiday not drunk for years.

I do not drink alcohol so slowly it’s time to pass.
I wonder if I was doing something unfriendly so far,
I will feel it again.
It was only after I felt that it was really I ordinarily decided to quit drinking.

Hmm, it is luxurious!

Actually, I could not finish eating, and ate for lunch the next day 🙂
(After this, there was Toshikoshi Udon)

Both Ori and I do not like ordinary osechi dishes very much,
What Ori thinked to make it deliciously eatable and looks luxurious,
This time is Ori-san Osechi.

The most delicious thing was Vietnam roll.
I do not like fried rolls very much,
Vietnam rolls, skin is very tasty,
It is also a dish that seems to be delicious since I met Ori.
Because Nampula releases an unusual odor,
The kitchen smells 😉
The contents are also vegetables, shrimp and healthy,
Is not it healthier than fried rolls?

There were so many things that I could not finish eating at one time,
Ori style osechi was delicious!
Even though it is good every year if it is such osechi,
Ori seems to be in trouble, so next year I will be fine at all meals everyday!

First New Year’s Preparation


Good evening. It is Ori-san.
I have a really reliable Otto-san to my husband, Ori-san is a happy person.
Cotori-san surely will be relieved.

Tomorrow is New Year’s Eve.
The first New Year ‘s greetings with Otto-san.
Today from the morning, I am preparing “Osechi & Ozoni”.

I’ve never been to New Year ‘s cooking since I have stayed at my parent home last year and New Year’ s holiday.
I managed  get ready for a look!

Nonetheless, Otto-san and Ori-san are not like old-fashioned “Osechi”…
So, it seems that a pretty original “Cottori Family’s Osechi” will be completed.
The completed figure will be released on New Year’s Day!

Osechi is likely to be far from the original thing,
I am hoping to reproduce “Hakata-Zoni” which Ori-san has eaten since long ago.
There seems to be various kinds of “Ozoni” all over the area, but is “soup” important for “Hakata-Zoni” ?
To prepare delicious soup stock, it is preparations from tonight.

Material of soup stock
· “Yaki-ago” (It does not start without this! Flying fish burned with charcoal fire)
· “Donko-Shiitake” (thick dried mushroom shiitake)
· kelp
· Dried squid
· Bonito
There are lots of it. Moreover, the kelp and the dried squid used this time is from “Shinsen” that I had at the time of worshiping Ise.
I wonder if it will be a profit.
Immersed in water overnight, and boiled out tomorrow.

It would be nice if I could complete for the first time.
I wonder if Otto-san will be pleased!

Japanese style Christmas. Rakugo and Yakitori


Good evening.

It is Otto.

From Ori-san baton touch so we have a pattern of our Christmas.

At Hakataza, I saw Rakugo of Shinosuke Tatekawa and Syoushi.

Shinosuke’s creative rakugo was also interesting,
I was made to think that Soushi’s classic rakugo was also well thought out.
So, I listened to Rakugo’s storyteller and declared Ori-san to stop drinking 🙂
Rakugo is different from a TV comedy program,
I feel that there is still room between the air on the spot.

The liquor of Geso(Squid foot) is too tasty! It is!
I ordered a sake(Nihonsyu) as a substitute because it was too delicious.

Sometimes, it’s a bit like me as a sneaky but,

Good evening.
It is Ori-san who is poor physical condition because I have 18 weeks of pregnancy and my stomach is heavy…

Last week ‘s lunch was omission.
Because it was a miraculous day-of-day bread 😀 that happens to receive two breads from different places on the same day,
I just finished making sandwich ingredients.

· Grilled salt mackerel with potato starch and baked in a pan.
· We mixed cucumber and boiled eggs with mayonnaise and black pepper.
· Marinated chopped onion and tomato with olive oil, vinegar and salt.
I surplied, mixed the dipping of celery. (Did you notice?
· We arranged hams.
· Boiled carrot, radish and Chinese cabbage with consommé and added soy milk.

Rumor “pain stock”s bread was delicious ~.
Something, wheat tastes! Or, the taste of the bread itself is delicious.
I’d like to go, but it’s a bit far away and hard. We’ll get to buy it so much, it looks dangerous (We love to eat!!)

Ori Food Recipe vol.Taro

On weekends I spent leisurely with Otto-san, It flew by in a flash

I always get fresh vegetables.

So this time Otto-san delivered this.

Let’s use it immediately for the next day’s lunch.

Well, where I dropped the soil thought that I would cook and cook it together with squid.

“Red ginger entering!? Miso soup”
By the way, the last challenge – red ginger.
I tried putting in 2 pieces in miso soup, it is delicious.
It was a new usage discovery. Otto-san was also pleased for this.

Oh yes, Hiromi Uehara’s live The Trio Project “SPARK” It was awesome!
Jazz pianist Uehara, long before we meet,

After I got up tension, Otto-san bought a live DVD for Christmas gift!

Kouya Tofu and Squid Stir-fried Miso soup with Red ginger and Others

· Pickled bamboo shoots and red ginger
· Kouya tofu and stir-fry sauce
· Boiled celery
· Bean sprouts and Yukari dressed with souce
· Glutinous wheat coconut oil rice

Kouya Tofu and stir-fry are oddly delicious,
Although it is saying also in moive,
Ori-san, I guess it is a dish that can not be made if I am told to make it once more 🙂
But food is such a real pleasure.

Everything was delicious,
As a new discovery,
It is delicious to put red ginger in miso soup.=O

Even with red ginger,
I do not know if it can be delicious with all the red ginger,
In red ginger used this time, it felt very tasty.
(Anyway, I will introduce that red ginger, I personally like it very much and I eat it everyday.)

Ori Food Recipe??


Good evening. It is Ori.
A movie that only two people eat rice silently.
Is there someone who can enjoy it?
It is something fun to watch for themselves! It is!

I am committed to introduce the recipe.

Because this is home cooking, I am making it momentum every time, it is not embarrassing to introduce, but it is embarrassing.
Incidentally, Otto-san is naming it, so let’s obey it faithfully (lol)

Boiled pork and green peppers with radish
1  Pork sliced meat with dusted potato starch and Boil.
It is a point to make the shabu-shabu after softening the boiled hot water once it is soft.
2 Fried green peppers.
Stir-fried green peppers that I ate at a Chinese restaurant the other day was delicious, so I roughly tried to imitate how to cut it.
3 Sautéed meat and green peppers and boiled with a large amount of white radish. Completion.

1 Crispy “Chirimen-jyako” with sesame oil.

Well, Ori-san has entered the 16th week of pregnancy.
I have kept patience from pregnancy, I decided to start yoga at last.
(Before pregnancy, I got sweaty with hot yoga almost every day on my way back from work)
I went to private lessons of maternity yoga!

Originally my body is stiff, I was surprised by the decline in just 4 months! It is!
It is tough for a teacher that “hip joints are a problem”! I guess it is supposed to be thought.
I will try my best at home, yoga with bathing rising.

Lose weight? Vegetable food “Ori-meshi”


Hello. I’m Ori-san.
I am pleased that Otto-san liked my dish.

I received a baton touch from Otto-san, about lunch for the other day.
Utsuwa, It is a beautiful picture of vessels. I will also show you around here, but today is Ori Food!
Make vegetables anyway for Otto-san who grew big! Is the theme.

I just wanted to use the “Umepon – vinegar” of the top thing,  and I cooked “Yu-dofu”.
In kelp soup, you will find tofu, turnips, and Mitsuba.

In the middle is “Ohitashi” request every time from Otto-san.
Today I was making an ohitashi of edible chrysanthemum “syungiku”, but when I look at the whole thing, there is no animal protein!
I added a mackerel in a hurry 😀

And the big hit this time is Pickles from Chinese cabbags “Hakusai”  mixed the peppers “Sansho”!
Recipe taught at pickles shop when I went to Kyoto the other day.
It seems that it was able to reproduce well, and Otto-san “Paku-Paku” eaten .

Oh, the example coconut oil glutinous wheat rice was surprisingly delicious.

Otto-san always delighted with such a simple meal, so I am very easy and  happy.
And because it praises me to delicious tasty good, it is a great Otto-chan.

It is happy mood and full of satisfaction feeling full of Otto meeting with Oris-san on weekends.

When I think about it, I still feel strange because my life has not changed even before I join.

Well, today is my favorite food. It is Ori’s Home cooking!

This is also exactly good for me, it is delicious and the rice does not stop.
Even if that rice cooked dish, Ori-san is making me as a fat carbohydrate now,
This is the glutinous wheat coconut oil rice which I introduced before!

I have not realized that effect yet. I mean, eating ramen or eating out,
I have not been able to eat that meal for a week, so I do not really know …

Just it is really delicious, so the feeling of eating each meal of Ori’s meal more than eating out is increasing day by day.
